Julia Swafford, PA-C, DFAAPA, has been a certified physician associate since 2011, and she is a distinguished fellow of the American Association of Physician Associates (AAPA). She participated in numerous rheumatology studies as a joint assessor and sub-investigator, and she is the president of the Society of Physician Associates in Rheumatology and is active in her community as well. She was recognized as America’s Top Rheumatology PA in 2021.
