Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) is a chronic, inflammatory musculoskeletal disease marked by both bone erosion and abnormal bone formation, which can lead to severe structural damage and functional loss if not diagnosed early. Imaging is essential for diagnosing and monitoring PsA, but traditional radiography has limitations, particularly in detecting soft tissue changes and bone proliferation. Advances in imaging technologies now allow for more precise detection, disease severity assessment, and early identification of patients with psoriasis at risk of developing PsA.
